What is post-filing bankruptcy debtor education?
Post-filing debtor education is the second education requirement for most individual bankruptcy filers. It is completed after the bankruptcy case is filed and covers personal financial management topics intended to help you move forward after bankruptcy.
Completing this course is generally required before an eligible filer can receive a discharge. It is separate from the credit counseling completed before filing and does not provide legal advice or replace instructions from your attorney or bankruptcy court.
