Acceptance and scope

These Terms apply to the public website located at moneyfit.org and to pages, tools, forms, and resources that link to these Terms. Separate websites, learning platforms, client portals, applications, promotions, or services may provide additional terms.

If you use the website on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for that organization. If you are not legally able to agree to these Terms, use the website only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, or other authorized person, as applicable.

Educational information, not professional advice

Public website content is provided for general financial education and informational purposes. It is not individualized financial, legal, tax, investment, credit-repair, or other professional advice. Laws, creditor policies, account terms, program requirements, costs, and available options can vary by person and may change.

You are responsible for evaluating information before acting on it and for consulting an appropriately qualified professional when your circumstances require individualized legal, tax, investment, or other professional guidance.

Money Fit services and enrollment

Money Fit provides nonprofit credit counseling, financial education, housing counseling, and debt management plan services for eligible consumers. Money Fit does not lend money, provide debt settlement services, operate a debt-company marketplace, or provide credit-repair services.

Visiting the website, using an educational resource, requesting information, or contacting Money Fit does not automatically enroll you in a program or create a debt management plan. Program eligibility, creditor participation, fees, concessions, payment terms, timelines, and possible outcomes depend on individual circumstances and applicable program requirements.

If you choose to receive counseling or enroll in a service, the applicable disclosures, authorizations, and signed service agreement will govern that service. If those service documents conflict with these website Terms on a service-specific matter, the service documents control.

Acceptable use

You may use this website only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• interfere with the website’s operation, security, availability, or use by others;
• attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, networks, nonpublic information, or restricted areas;
• introduce malicious code, conduct security testing without written authorization, or attempt to bypass access controls;
• impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity, authority, affiliation, or the source of a submission;
• use the website to violate another person’s privacy, intellectual-property rights, or other legal rights;
• collect personal information about other users without a lawful basis and appropriate authorization;
• use website content or Money Fit branding in a way that falsely suggests endorsement, sponsorship, partnership, or affiliation; or
• use automated or manual methods that impose an unreasonable burden on the website or materially disrupt its operation.

We may restrict or block access when reasonably necessary to protect the website, its users, Money Fit, or third parties.

Forms, accounts, and user submissions

When you submit information through a form or secure service channel, you agree to provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge and that you are authorized to provide. You are responsible for maintaining the security of any account credentials issued to you and for promptly reporting suspected unauthorized access.

Do not send full account numbers, passwords, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information through a general contact form or ordinary email. Use the secure method provided by Money Fit when sensitive information is required for a service.

If you submit a question, comment, testimonial, review, or other material for possible publication, any additional consent or release presented with that submission will govern how it may be used. Do not submit material that you do not have the right to provide.

Electronic communications

When you contact Money Fit electronically, you consent to receive responses and service-related communications electronically when appropriate. Email and ordinary text messaging may not be secure, so avoid including sensitive financial information unless we direct you to an approved secure method.

Any consent to receive marketing calls, automated calls, text messages, or promotional email is governed by the specific consent language presented when the information is collected. Where stated, consent to marketing communications is not a condition of receiving information or purchasing a service. You may use the opt-out instructions included with a communication.

Intellectual property and permitted use

The website and its original text, graphics, logos, designs, downloads, videos, software, and other materials are owned by or licensed to Debt Reduction Services, Inc. and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may view, print, or download reasonable portions of public website content for personal, noncommercial use. You may also share links to public pages and quote limited excerpts with clear attribution and a link to the source page.

Unless permitted by law or authorized by us in writing, you may not:

• reproduce, republish, sell, license, or distribute substantial portions of website content;
• remove copyright, trademark, source, or other proprietary notices;
• modify or reuse content in a misleading manner;
• use Money Fit names, logos, or branding to imply affiliation or endorsement; or
• reverse engineer website software except to the extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

Permission to access or crawl a public page does not transfer ownership of the content or create a broader license to republish it.

Automated access and AI tools

Search engines and automated assistants may access public website content when they comply with applicable law, these Terms, our robots.txt directives, and reasonable technical controls. You may not evade rate limits, access restrictions, authentication requirements, or other protective measures.

Without written permission, automated tools may not bulk download the website, systematically reproduce substantial portions of its content, collect personal information, or operate in a way that places an unreasonable load on our systems.

Automated assistants may summarize public Money Fit educational and service information when the summary is accurate, identifies the source, does not imply an affiliation, and does not turn general information into individualized advice or guaranteed outcomes.

Our LLM access guide identifies preferred public sources for describing Money Fit. It is a citation and accuracy guide, not a waiver of these Terms or a transfer of intellectual-property rights. Additional description and safety guidance appears in our AI Policy.

Privacy

Our collection, use, protection, and disclosure of personal information are described in the Privacy Policy and Disclosures . That policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Service-specific privacy notices, consent language, and legally required disclosures may also apply when you request or receive a Money Fit service.

Third-party websites and services

The website may link to government agencies, regulators, educational resources, service providers, social platforms, or other third-party websites. These links are provided for convenience or reference. A link does not necessarily mean that Money Fit endorses, controls, or is affiliated with the third party.

Third-party websites and services have their own terms, privacy practices, accessibility, security, and content standards. Money Fit is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or operation.

Website availability and changes

We may correct, update, reorganize, suspend, restrict, or discontinue website content or features. We do not guarantee that every page, tool, link, or feature will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from error.

We try to provide accurate and useful information, but website content may contain typographical, technical, or other errors. Official agreements, regulator records, creditor terms, and applicable law control when they differ from a general website summary.

Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the public website and its general educational content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Money Fit disclaims warranties concerning the website that may legally be disclaimed, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Money Fit does not guarantee that use of the website or any general information will produce a particular financial result, improve a credit score, reduce a payment or interest rate, secure creditor participation, establish program eligibility, or resolve a debt within a particular time.

Nothing in these Terms limits warranties, rights, disclosures, or obligations that cannot lawfully be excluded or that apply under a separate written service agreement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Debt Reduction Services, Inc., its directors, officers, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or related to use of, or inability to use, the public website.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions or limitations of liability. In those jurisdictions, the exclusions and limitations in these Terms apply only to the extent permitted by law. These Terms do not limit liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms to reflect changes to the website, services, technology, law, or organizational practices. Revised Terms take effect when posted unless a different effective time is stated.

Your continued use of the website after revised Terms take effect means that the revised Terms apply to your subsequent website use. Material changes to an existing service relationship will be handled as required by applicable law and the governing service agreement.

Governing law

These website Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except to the extent that applicable federal law or the mandatory law of another jurisdiction applies.

General provisions

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted and the remaining provisions will remain in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.

These Terms, together with policies expressly incorporated by reference, form the agreement governing use of the public website. Separate service agreements, disclosures, program terms, promotion rules, or platform terms may apply to particular services or activities.
