Variny Yim serves as the Partner and Affiliate Relations Director for the JumpStart Coalition. JumpStart works to promote financial education across the country and within all communities through communication, collaboration, and commitment. With the support of large and small partners, JumpStart has created financial education standards adopted by many state departments of education.
Many financial educators must still learn to adapt their language and expectations to all populations, getting out of the mode of seeing investing and other financial topics as black and white.
